The Alabama Strategy

The Alabama Strategy is a two-day summit held in
Montgomery, Alabama, hosted by Chaplain Browder Ministries.
In 2025, the documentary film The Alabama Solution shed light
on the inhumane treatment of inmates within the Alabama
prison system. Faith Crusades Ministries, under the direction of
Chaplain Curtis Browder, has provided housing, food, and
supportive services to formerly incarcerated individuals and
was featured for nearly 45 years.


The Alabama Strategy brings together individuals and
organizations working on different fronts across these issues to
share the strategies needed to address Alabama's growing
problem of recidivism, comprehensive care during and after
incarceration reentry, healthcare and housing. The summit is an
opportunity to learn from practitioners across the country,
identify opportunities for collaboration, and expand collective
efforts toward lasting change.
